You know, I bought one of those classic consoles thinking I would relive my childhood. So far it’s just provided countless hours of entertaining frustration along with the realization that 8 year old me was a lot better at games than me.
Okay but hold up. How would someone respectfully express a difference of opinion then? I would like an actual response. Because this is the kind of ideology I do not like. This is a passive-aggressive way of saying you are not allowed to have a different viewpoint or you are doing something toxic. Which is in and of itself, toxic.
If you have a basic amount of intelligence, you can find a way to express your opinion without degrading and diminishing others’ experience. This can be applied to sexuality, race, religion, etc.
If you use any of those phrases, congrats, you’re delegitimizing the feelings that Black people have.
